It provides internal power supply redundancy for up to six networking device and features an immediate fail-over capability. The single rack-unit RPS 300 can be combined with the Catalyst 3524-PWR Series XL desktop switch with inline power and a UPS to establish Cisco's Centralized Power Provisioning System.
